The Leeds Core Centre is another building now benefiting from Jaeggi Hybrid Coolers. Hannan Associates in Manchester specified two hybrid coolers to serve the cooling loop for the VRV systems installed in the individual shop units within the shopping precinct.
The main reasons for installing the Hybrid coolers was the 85% water savings over conventional wet cooling towers with the same cooling efficiencies and the added benefit of the Hybrids using at least 20% less electricity at very low sound levels required because of residential apartments surrounding the Core centre.
